Vint Hill Wins Bronze Award at Town Point Va Wine Competition!

Vint Hill is proud to announce that our "Chambourone" - an Amarone-style wine, won the Bronze at the Town Point Virginia Wine Competition, which took place Friday in Norfolk, Va.    Look for this one to debut in our Teaching and Tasting Balcony soon!   Our Congrats to our Sister Wineries for their awards as well!  Pearmund Cellars took a Silver for its Viognier and  The Winery at La Grange took the Gold for its Cabernet Sauvignon as well as the Bronze for the Meritage!   Read more... http://www.dailypress.com/features/family/food/the-dish-blog/dp-virginia-wine-competition-20111008,0,1825530.story

Ahoy!  Virginia Wines are heading inside the beltway by boat!  Vint Hill Craft Winery is one of several Virginia wineries that will be featured throughout the month of October to celebrate Virginia Wine Month in partnership with the Washington Wine Academy on beautiful sunset cruises along the Potomac River. The cruises will be held October 7, 14, 21 and 28 departing at at 6:30 and 8:30 pm from the Gangplank Marina in DC.  Tickets are $55.00 per person.
