Taste The Wines Made Here - Sharing the Passion and the Craft.

We offer a unique wine tasting experience for the Washington, DC region. Each of our ‘Vintners’ makes about 24-25 cases of wine and many choose to leave some of it here for us to share. Vint Hill Craft Winery offers ‘horizontal’ tastings of dozens of unique wines, all made here in the winery. Of course, we make a variety of unique premium wines with our own label as well. All of our wines are for sale on the Teaching and Tasting Balcony.

How is this different?

At other regional wineries, you can taste one each of different varietals.  The winery will have a few white wines, a few red wines, and a sweet or desert wine.

At Vint Hill Craft Winery, our ‘Vintners’ craft one barrel of their own wine in their own unique style.  This means, for example, that we may have 20-30 cabernet sauvignons, made from either California, Washington State or Virginia grapes; each styled by individuals and crafted with the help of our expert winemaking team.  They are all unique.

In our tasting room (a 2nd floor balcony that overlooks the entire winery) we can offer many of these to you, to sample and purchase. Vint Hill Craft Winery offers planned and scheduled horizontal tastings of individual wines, each from the same grape varietal but all made right here.

This takes the regional wine tasting experience to a whole new and higher level.  We hope you will join us and experience just how good locally made wine can be.
