DESCRIPTION:We are excited to return our Chardonnay Blending Class at Vint Hill Winery! \nGuests will be able to taste different components that make a great Chardonnay. Led by our winemaker\, Mark Ward\, we will discuss all the aspects of what goes into a great bottle\, from vineyard discussions\, yeast selection\, style\, oak vs. unoaked\, and malolactic fermentation – just to name a few. Mark will also enter the library to have you taste a different vintage of Vint Hill Chardonnay. \nThen\, you can “blend” your own glass of Chardonnay using the available components. We will give you all the ingredients to make the best blend you can. This class will be both educational and fun\, you don’t want to miss it. \nEach session is limited to 20 guests. So don’t delay in getting your tickets! \nGuests will receive a small food-appropriate plate to accompany the wines. DESCRIPTION:Our Annual Enigma Tasting is back on Sunday\, September 8th! \nJoin our winemaker\, Mark Ward\, as he discusses the history and techniques that go into creating our signature red blend\, Enigma. \nGuests will have the opportunity to taste the different components that go into this Bordeaux Blend (Petit Verdot\, Cabernet Franc\, Merlot\, and Cabernet Sauvignon) as well as our current 2021 vintage (Double-Gold and 95 points at the East Meets West Wine Competition in Santa Rosa\, California)\, AND the 2023 vintage – out of barrel. \nYou’ll also have the chance to “Crack the Code“. Attendees who can guess the closest percentages of our Enigma blend will win! The 2023 Enigma vintage will be offered at a discounted futures pricing with pick up available upon bottling (estimated December 2024). \nAlong with the tasting\, each guest will receive a Charcuterie box to accompany the wine. \nIn addition\, you will receive wine education and a personal experience with our award-wining winemaker\, Mark Ward! \nSeating is limited. Guests will receive a welcome glass of Sparkling Wine followed by a 4 course dinner\, each course will be paired with Vint Hill Wines. \nPlated Dinner Menu:\nGinger Carrot Soup\nCaeli Salad (baby spinach\, gala apples\, walnuts\, cranberries\, feta cheese) with a Balsamic\nVinaigrette\nBeef Bourguignon with pearled onions & carrots\, served with creamy Mashed Potatoes and Sautéed Brussel Sprouts\nDessert of Chocoberries (chocolate based torte with a chocolate cream center and finished off with a mixed berry topping) \nPlease note\, a Vegetarian Entrée (Stuffed Acorn Squash with quinoa\, maple\, curry\, cranberries\, pistachios\, and parsley) will need to be ordered no later than Wednesday\, October 30th. \nRSVP required and limited tickets are available so seats will fill up quickly – don’t delay. \nCatering provided by Pampa’s Fox Catering. \nTickets are $99 per guest (plus tax).\nSales Tax of 5.3% Virginia State Tax and 6% County Meals Tax added to each ticket. \n \nSEATING NOTES: Table seating is arranged prior to the event date. DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, March 8th for a Paint ‘n Sip at Vint Hill Winery and learn to paint a Cherry Blossom Scene\, on a wine glass. \nNo experience is necessary. This class will be led by Heather Connole\, a self-taught Impressionist oil painter\, with 18 years of experience. She is a member of the Baton Rouge and Manassas Art Guild. \nAll supplies are included in your ticket price (paint\, brushes\, apron\, etc.).\nWine glass is provided for you. Heather will help guide you to create your own image. \nTickets will include a glass of wine. Additional wine will be available for purchase. \nAges 21+ \nTickets are limited so don’t delay! Guests can choose a spring image of floral arrangements\, honey bees\, or a butterfly. \nNo experience is necessary. This class will be led by Heather Connole\, a self-taught Impressionist oil painter\, with 18 years of experience. She is a member of the Baton Rouge and Manassas Art Guild. \nAll supplies are included in your ticket price (paint\, brushes\, apron\, etc.).\nCharcuterie Board is provided for you. This class will have stencils to help guide you to create your image. Board is a wooden 10×7″ with a handle. \nTo ensure your boards are food-safe\, guests will have the option to leave their boards to be sealed and can be picked up after April 25th. Guests can also choose to take their boards home day-of if they want to seal them themselves. \nTickets will include a glass of wine. Additional wine will be available for purchase. \nRSVP HERE \nAges 21+ \nTickets are limited so don’t delay! This event will be hosted in our Production Room at 3pm.

SUMMARY:Chardonnay Blending Class
DESCRIPTION:It’s time for our Annual Chardonnay Blending Class at Vint Hill Winery! \nGuests will be able to taste the different components that make a great Chardonnay. Led by our head winemaker\, Mark Ward\, we will discuss all the aspects of what goes into a great bottle\, from vineyard comparisons\, yeast selection\, style\, oak vs. unoaked\, and malolactic fermentation – just to name a few. Wines being tasted will include wine from barrel and bottle\, and you’ll be able to purchase futures at a discounted price! \nGuests will also be able to “blend” their own glass of Chardonnay using the available components. We will give you all the ingredients to make the best blend you can. This class will be both educational and fun\, you don’t want to miss it. \nEach session is limited to 20 guests. So don’t delay in getting your tickets! \nRSVP HERE \nGuests will receive a small food-appropriate plate to accompany the wines.
