Mark will also enter the library to have you taste a different vintage of Vint Hill Chardonnay

Great Rosé!
When I asked Mark Ward Head Winemaker what is your favorite wine? His reply was “All of them”. But if you had to pick one? “Petit Manseng.”
“The grapes came from my vineyard, so from grape to bottle, it’s a source of pride because it’s my fruit. It has a good balance of alcohol, acidity, and big tropical fruit flavors, peach, pineapple, and grapefruit. It's the perfect wine to drink in the summer months!”

80TH ANNIVERSARY OF D-DAY
Many of you know, Long before we were making wine in this building, Vint Hill was the first operational Field Station in the military whose mission was to monitor and decode transmissions sent by our enemies overseas.
The most infamous tranmissions were caught by an unassuming Private named Leonard Mudloff in late 1943. Mudloff intercepted a message from the Japanese Ambassador in Berlin, sent to Tokyo, highlighting among other things the defense strategies of the Germans in France.
A team of Japanese-American soldiers and codebreakers went to work day and night to listen and untangle the encrypted messages that continued to flow. In the coming months, our Military set up a misinformation and deception campaign, convincing the Germans that they were right in their strategic planning. All this was predicated on the intercepts at Vint Hill, allowing us to successfully launch Operation Overlord, more commonly known as D-Day.
At Vint Hill Craft Winery, the history of World War 2, and the Cold War is not forgotten, but rather celebrated. In our décor, labels and promotions.

There are just a couple of cases of our 2022 Rosé left in stock.
This Provence-style Rosé of Grenache has hints of peach, melon, and floral notes on the nose and is consistent on the palate. It has a zesty finish with notes of hibiscus and orange zest. This is a very versatile wine for sipping on the patio and pairs well with pasta.
