Spring has sprung at Vint Hill. The courtyard looks extra special with all the trees and plants in bloom. Perfect for a picnic with loved ones, while enjoying the best wine around.

Just released!
Our 2021 Zinfandel, “Zoe”. This luscious wine showcases blueberry, vanilla, and cocoa notes on the nose while jammy bramble fruit shines on the palate. Try it with Jeremiah’s Kansas City Style BBQ on site today from 12:00-5 pm. “Zoe” is available by the glass, bottle, wine flight, or case.

Our beloved 'Mascot', Effie the Ceramic Pig is missing. A gift from the 4-H club, Effie welcomes people to our lawn. She has been PIGNAPPED, and replaced with a smaller, less elegant replica. Anyone with any ideas where Effie may be can comment below, or email us at WheresEffie@PearmundCellars.com. All clues leading to her return will be rewarded with a $5 coupon good at Pearmund Cellars, Effingham Manor or Vint Hill Craft Winery.

Any old grapegrowers remember spring in 1988?
It’s gonna get cold tonight. maybe too cold.
In 1988 a week before budbreak a hard cold hit at 22 degrees. Lost 2,000 vines in the low areas, and a greatly reduced chardonnay crop overall. Higher elevation was OK. I learned there in only one thing to do. Drink beer. It’s in the fridge at the ready just in case.
